Lingenfelter 3.5" Aluminum Driveshaft

Since upgrading the gears from 2.73 to 3.42, I developed a vibration above 70mph. This was not your typical wheel out of balance vibration. This was a vibration that was felt in the shifter.

This is the Lingenfelter Driveshaft side by side with the stock GM Steel Driveshaft. The LPE version is 3.5" and the stock version is 3.0".

Notice the beefier yoke on the Lingenfelter Version. The Lingenfelter Driveshaft weighs only 12.2lbs and the stock steel driveshaft weighs 17.0lbs. Since replacing the stock driveshaft, the vibration is gone. Even up to 125mph, still no vibration. This driveshaft is spin balanced to 11,000rpm and cost 300 dollars.
